Tai Tapu Lodge has been recently developed within a heritage coach stop and creamery on a 12 acre property situated in the leafy village of Tai Tapu. We are situated 20 min from Christchurch City and the international Airport, 5 min from Lincoln University and close to the attractions of Banks Peninsula
We provide three romantic and private separate suites and a smaller guestroom. All suites having private access to outdoor living and our gardens.
The Lodge is a short walk to Tai Tapu where there is a great cafe and boutique shopping.
The district is well known for walks, biking and there is a picturesque 9 hole golf course.
We are also closer to the ski fields than Christchurch City

Marilyn and Gerald have owned the lodge property for 15 years and over the last ten years have rebuilt the homestead to meet a contemporary lifestyle and have listed the coach stop as a heritage building.
The owners are both designers and this is reflected in the ambience of the four self contained suites they have created in the heritage coach stop and adjacent brick creamery.
They also have extensive other business interests particularly in innovation and technology.
